Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

E-mail Print PDF

Pappy has now been with me for 1 year and a half. He has had a very difficult life!! 10 years in a Spanish refuge...possibly adopted and returned more than once.? What makes me say that? Well, observation of his behaviour patterns basically.

He does not respond to people and until recently had a great fear of going to the village.......This has taken a lot of practice and patience.

Last week , he had a heart attack, He has recovered very quickly and very well....I treat him with homeopathic remedies to  which he responds well.  His fear of the car remains quite acute but we practice slowly. With me , he is fine ..being a male , not castrated makes him quite difficult to handle but between us we have come to certain agreements!!  He often show me deep love with cuddles and passionate embraces ...Yes!! a bit like an overdone husband!:-)  We will continue to do our best.
