Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

Welcome

E-mail Print PDF

I adopted Nanette.... a traumatized Hunting Dog , three years ago.

She had been taken from the previous owner for cruel treatment and placed in a Refuge, where she existed and survived for 2 years here in Southern France. Absolutely no treatment was given to her for extreme trauma during that time.

Nanette had clearly never lived with human beings in the accepted sense, even though she knows all about the dark side of humanity.

I was to discover that she had been subjected to the utmost in perverted cruel treatment of her physical and psychological Being.

My life with this haunted animal has raised many questions about our assumptions as dog 'owners'!!! and as such, is the raison d'etre of this website.
